quick trip to Utah in October

The kids and I went to Utah (again) in October.  We've been spoiled visiting family so much lately!  My friend Alison drove with me both ways - she was going up so her in-laws could through her a baby shower.

We were there for one week - 2 of those days were driving.  We stopped in St. George both times for a pit stop at Grandma Betty and Grandpa Marc's.

We did some fun things and loved the fall Utah weather.  It was nice to pack long sleeve/pants/jackets.  And it was an extra bonus that Uncle Bruce and Aunt Claudia were in town that whole week because Bruce had a work conference.  Most days I'd work while my mom and Aunt Claudia sat at the table and cross stitched.  I've never loved working so much - getting to sit and listen to them was so fun.

We went to Gardner Village one morning with my mom, sister, Aunt Claudia and Misty and her kids.  The kids loved running around finding the different witches.

Jake, Sophia, and Brooklyn - they all look the same size.  Jake is huge.

I took the kids to liberty park.  They have a few different playgrounds that the kids played at.

I know I'm biased, but I think he is SO CUTE.

Jeannette had her annual witches party.  Like always, she put a ton of work into it and it was so much fun!  I love that party and look forward to it all year.  Rich was so nice to watch my older two kids during the party - and even gave them a bath with Sophia and Max.  Cute cousins.

On Sunday we went to Zoey and Alyssa's primary program.  We went up early before church and ate lunch at Mike and Mandy's and then headed over to the church.  The girls did a great job.  I snapped this sweet picture of Mike and Brooklyn.

Remmy loves being talked to and will "chat" back with you for awhile.  I thought it was so cute that my dad got down on the floor with her.

October so far

October is the best.  It automatically makes me happier.  So many fun things to do and look forward to.  These pictures are out of order, but I don't feel like fixing them.

Halloween crafts at Dad's school - they do this every few weeks and have cute, free things for the kids to make.  This time is was a ghost and an owl.  We met Mandy, Reese, and Jensen there.

The Phoenix Arizona temple is finally done!  It was a few steel beams when we first moved here.  We've driven by it several times the last 2 year and watched the progress of it.   It is 5 minutes from our house.  We went to the open house as a family.  Brooklyn has been asking for a long time to go inside, so it was fun to tell her we finally got to!  It is such a beautiful temple, inside and out.

Remmy had her 4 month check up the beginning of the month.  She is 17 lbs (90%) and 25in (70%).  She got shots and didn't cry - no lie.  She got a frown on her face and I picked her up and she was fine.  The nurse was shocked because she poked her 3 times.  All that chub does a girl good :)

my favorite picture of her right now - soooo cute I could almost eat her!

little boobs :) :)

I went for a run one Saturday morning and came back and these two were waiting for outside all ready to go.  So down the street and around the block we went.  Brooklyn especially loves going "running" with me.

Brooklyn and Remmy watching a show...until Remmy spit up all over....

...ha ha, love her disgusted face.

found them after I got out of the shower playing outside - I think they were going on a trip this day.  Notice Jake's shoes...they are Brooklyn's.

candy corn that I made - I think they turned out cute.

One morning on my run I snapped this picture...it was a gorgeous morning.

Mike and Mandy's wedding

We are so glad that Mike found Mandy - they are perfect for each other.  We love Mandy and her girls and are excited to have them in our family.

The wedding was so fun.  The ceremony started at 5..we got there early and Jeannette snapped some pictures of the kids in their cute wedding outfits.

Kate, Hailey, Brooklyn, and Hannah

This was the best shot we could get...not bad though.  Mandy's colors were navy blue, blush, and gray.  Everything/everyone looked so good.

My 3 favorite girls - they are good girls too - Riley, Annie, and Emily.

The ceremony was so nice and Mike and Mandy exchanged very sweet vows.  Alyssa got teary eyed when Mandy was saying hers and that made me and the rest of the congregation emotional.

Lucy and Brooklyn - these two are quite the pair!  Funny, stubborn, and smart smart girls.  They danced most of the night together.

Camille, me, and Jillian - loves these cousins of mine.

Brooklyn loves Aunt Mandy (and Uncle Mike too).  She kept asking me if she could have a picture taken with Mandy - so we finally got one.

selfie with the groom!  So happy for Mike - best guy and best brother.
