Birthday Celebrations

We started John's birthday celebrations last Saturday by going to the circus.  Jeannette and Jon were SO NICE to buy everyone's tickets...16 of us total!  (thank you, thank you!!)  "Toby Tyler", a movie about a boy who runs away to the circus, was one of my favorite movies when I was little and I have always wanted to go to the circus since.

It was a great show!

Sunday I had John's birthday dinner for our family and friends (24 people total!).  John chose breakfast for dinner, which included french toast, pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, and fruit.  It was delicious and a LOT of work to have breakfast hot and ready for everyone at the same time.

And finally on Monday, John's actual birthday, we went to Market Street Grill for dinner, just the two of us.  It was sooo good and we both ate way too much.

I didn't get nearly as many pictures as I would have liked of the weekend, but glad I remembered to at least take a few.

Is it normal...

for a pregnant lady to look like this?

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!

My brother-in-law's brother, Tom, took my picture the other day with his phone.  He has an app that will add 100+lbs to your photo.  We were joking that I should send this picture to my mom and ask if it was normal to be looking like this at 24 weeks pregnant??

I crack up everytime I look at this!  Talk about good motivation to stay healthy :)

West High Athletic Hall of Fame

I am  a lucky man.  I usually, well never, write on this blog - this is an exception. I have to brag about my wife because I know she wouldn't post this on here otherwise.  When I was a boy, I had no idea how amazing my future wife would be.  We received the announcement that she would be inducted into her high school's Athletic Hall of Fame. She has accomplished so much.
Everyday I am reminded about how amazing she is by the things she is always doing for me and others.  I am so proud of her and all that she has accomplished.  I love her.
Congratulations Becky!
