Thursday, March 25th:
This was the day we spent at the Polynesian Cultural Center. It was a great day and one of my favorite things we did. We started the day by going to our favorite place, Wailana Coffee House. We loved this place because you could get all you can eat pancakes for $5 AND it was really good food.
A tour bus picked us up from our hotel and took us to the PCC, which is on the North side of the island. Our guide, "Cousin Rome", was hilarious. He was from New Zealand and kept calling all of us 'cousins'. We decided to pay a little extra and have him be our guide at the center too. This turned out great because he knew all the right places to go and the times of each islands performances, so we got to see it all.

These next few pictures are of the boat show. There were a total of 8 different islands and each of them did a performance. I could have watched them dance all day - I loved it.
This was the island of Tonga. John and I have never laughed harder. They picked 3 guys in the audience to come up and drum with them and made fun of them the whole time.
The island of Samoa. They showed us how to crack a coconut and get the milk out, how to make a fire, and how they climb the trees the get the coconuts.
We ate dinner at a buffet and then went to the night show. It was the by far the best part of the day. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of it because no flash photography was allowed, but it was awesome. They had a ton of dancing from every island and ended the night with the fire show. We didn't get back to our hotel till midnight and we were tired!
Friday, March 26th:
This was our last day in Hawaii. Since we had to check out of our hotel by 11am and our flight didn't leave till that night, we decided to rent a car for the day and head back up to the North Shore to see the temple and some beaches that we had missed. I sent John to get the car while I checked out and brought our luggage down. When I came out he was waiting for me in this...
A RED CONVERTIBLE!! :) I was totally surprised and loved it.
Hmm...Matsumoto's! I had been waiting for this all week! It is THE best shaved ice there is...so so good - we stopped by twice even!
Hawaii Temple
These were the last beaches we went to before we had to head back to Waikiki to head to the airport. We had a red eye flight home and didn't get in until 7am, which would really be 3am in Hawaii!
This was the last shot I took in Hawaii. It was a perfect honeymoon. It makes me sad to look through these pictures - we wish we were still there! But we'll always have such great memories.
I'm so glad you guys had such a great time! You both totally deserved an island paradise honeymoon!! Some day we all need to go there together - that would be a blast!!! Love you a ton!
