Kate's blessing

Kate was blessed in the Capitol Hill ward.  We tried to do it in Arizona when family was down for John's graduation, but our Bishop didn't allow baby blessings to be done in the home.

John gave Kate a wonderful blessing.  Some things he blessed her with (for my memory):  a rich and blessed life, that she will have a testimony of the Gospel, that she will have a strong relationship with your sisters and brothers (I teased John about this after and said brothers?  There's another one? :)), a father and mother who love you, that she will make it through hard days and hold on to the Gospel, that she will have a healthy body and be able to do all things, to stay strong and stay close to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and that she is supported not only by the men in this group but by your family, especially your parents.

She looked so beautiful in her white dress (same one that Brooklyn and Remmy were blessed in).

Worland - I hardly took any pictures, but we had a blast (like usual).  We went up on a Thursday, came home Sunday.  The kids played constantly with cousins, we went swimming, played games, Maverik, the usual.

Rich brought up a badminton set and adults and kids had fun playing.

We went down to Provo to see James and Sara's new house.  We played at a splash pad nearby, ate pizza, and eventually went to Macy's for ice cream.

We played tons with cousins Sophia, Max, and Owen.  I thoroughly enjoyed my chats with Misty.

Maybe it was just Remmy that was always naked?  Sounds about right.

We stayed with my parents for the rest of the time we were in Utah (besides the weeks we were in Worland, Bear Lake, and Santa Cruz).  They were so kind and patient to let us stay so long and the time flew by.

Brooklyn and Sophia played all summer long.  We still miss living next door to them.  Brooklyn (and Jake) would ask me first thing after they woke up every day if they could play at Sophia's.  Poor Misty was beyond nice and always let them.  I love that they are older now and just play..no babysitting them.

We met Mandy, Zoey, Alyssa, and Audrey at a park/splash pad in Kaysville one morning.  We packed lunches and had a picnic in between playing.

Aunt Sonya bought the girls matching dresses.  Brooklyn and Remmy couldn't wait and had to put them on at Emma's soccer game.

After Emma's game we picked up pizza and met at the park at Ensign Peak.  My kids love Uncle Solomon and he is always so patient and nice to them.

My mom and dad have a new fire pit and we roasted s'mores a few times.
