I can't believe tomorrow is July 1st. Where did June go?
It feels like I haven't blogged forever - so here's an update...and sorry, quite a lot of pictures too.
Father's Day weekend, Brooklyn and I took a road trip to Havre, Montana with my best friend Hovey. We went for our good friend/old teammate's wedding. We met in Pocatello and drove together most of the way (about a 10- hour trip). Brooklyn was a champ in the car. Tim and Sue, my host family when I played ball in Havre, were nice enough to let us stay with them. It was so great to see them and everyone else and I had fun showing Brooklyn off. We left early Sunday morning to make it back home in time to celebrate Father's Day.
A few pictures from that weekend:
Tim and Sue just got 6 new kittens when we were there.
I tried to do a little photo shoot with Brooklyn before we left and blew up one of the pictures to give to John for Father's Day. I also dipped her foot in paint and put her little footprint on the picture. He loved it. I'm so grateful for John and the amazing dad he is to Brooklyn. He loves that little girl and always goes to her first when he gets home from work and school.
She was done at this point :)
I bought this pink convertible jump-a-roo before Brooklyn was born. It was the one thing I insisted on buying the pink one (all the other "big" things we bought gender neutral). I love it and think it's so funny and so darn cute. She doesn't know quite what to think of it yet and hasn't gotten the concept of jumping in it, but she likes to swing and look around.

still having the occasion blow-out
I started feeding her rice cereal. I've only done it a few times so far and she is loving it. She gets really excited and opens her mouth really big for each bite. I don't think this girl will have a problem eating :)
Super cute pictures! I love the convertible. That is a must have for every little girly girl!
